Guoyuan Leather Launches New Leather Manufacturing Facility in Fujian to Expand Premium Cow Leather Production

Zhangpu, Fujian, China — Guoyuan Leather proudly announced the groundbreaking of its new manufacturing subsidiary, Fujian Ouke Leather Co., Ltd., at the Chihu Leather Industrial Park in Zhangpu, Fujian Province. The ceremony marks a major milestone in the company’s long-term strategy to strengthen its position as a leading genuine leather manufacturer in China while expanding production capacity for global customers.

The groundbreaking ceremony was attended by local government representatives, industrial park officials, business partners, and industry guests, celebrating the launch of one of the region’s key leather manufacturing projects.

Expanding Manufacturing Capacity for Global Customers

Established in 1991, Guoyuan Leather has accumulated more than 30 years of experience in leather manufacturing and has become a trusted supplier of cow split leather, PU transfer leather, and chemical finished leather for footwear, bags, fashion accessories, and industrial applications.

The new Fujian Ouke Leather facility represents an investment of approximately RMB 300 million and covers an area of 165 acres with a planned construction area of 130,000 square meters.

Once fully operational, the factory will feature:

• Annual processing capacity of 900,000 raw hides 
• Annual production of 43.2 million square feet of premium cow leather
• Expected annual sales exceeding RMB 600 million 
• More than 600 new employment opportunities 
• An integrated modern leather manufacturing system

The project further strengthens Guoyuan Leather’s ability to provide stable supply, consistent quality, and flexible OEM manufacturing services for customers worldwide.
